1. About this policy

This policy explains how Pavitra Mandir for Android handles information when you use the app. The app is provided by Bhuwan Chandra Joshi ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Information the app handles

The app stores the following information in its private storage on your device:

• Worship and temple-cleaning timestamps: used to restore the temple's state and reflect time since your previous activity.
• Language and curtain-colour preferences: used to remember your display choices.

Ritual interactions are also processed on your device to run the current worship session. Worship activity can reveal aspects of religious practice; we do not upload this activity or use it to create advertising profiles.

The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, payment information, or account credentials. It does not access your contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, photos, or messages.

3. Collection and sharing

The app does not transmit your locally stored preferences or worship activity to our servers. It does not include advertising, analytics, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. We do not sell app user data or share it for targeted advertising.

Android backup and device-transfer services may handle app data as described below. Google Play and your device provider may separately process information when you download, update, back up, or use your device under their own policies, including the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Android permissions

• Vibration: allows tactile feedback during app interactions. This permission does not access personal information.
• Internet: is declared in the app. The current app does not use it to upload user data; temple visuals and ritual sounds are bundled with the app.

5. Storage, backup, and security

Saved preferences and timestamps are held in Android's app-private storage, protected by the operating system's access controls. No method of storage is completely secure.

Android backup is enabled for this app. Depending on your Android version, device provider, and settings, app data may be included in cloud backups or transferred to another device. We do not operate these backup services or have access to your backup account. You can manage available backup options in your device settings.

6. Retention and deletion

Local preferences and timestamps remain until replaced by later activity or removed. To delete local app data, open Android Settings → Apps → Pavitra Mandir → Storage → Clear storage / Clear data, or uninstall the app. Menu names vary by device. Clearing data resets your saved preferences and temple state.

Removing local data does not necessarily remove existing backups. Manage or delete those through your device or backup provider's settings; restoring a backup may restore saved app data. There is no app account to delete and no server-side worship history held by us.

If you email us for support or privacy inquiries, your email message and address are processed through our email service provider (Gmail / Google Workspace) solely to answer your inquiries and provide user support. We do not use support communications for marketing or share them with third parties. Support emails are retained only as long as necessary to address your request or until you request deletion.

8. Children's privacy

The app's local-data practices described above apply to all users. The app does not request a user's age or collect personal information through registration. A parent or guardian with a privacy concern can contact us using the details above.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or our data practices change. The updated policy will be published on this page with its effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent before new data processing begins.
